With an agenda aimed at positioning the country and reaffirming its leadership, the Peruvian delegation, led by the head of the sector, seeks to continue strengthening investor confidence and generate more development opportunities. Private investment is essential to grow, develop and position Peru at the forefront of Latin America and the world, said the minister.
Likewise, he recognized the support and effort deployed to present the countrys riches through the national stand, which functions as a global showcase for the promotion of the sector. We want the eyes and investments of the world to bet on Peru, he said.
The Peruvian Pavilion, led by MINEM, presents the national geological potential, the renewed portfolio of exploration projects and Perus key role in the energy transition, offering official and updated information for investors.
As part of the technical agenda, Minister Alfaro participated in the sustainability forum Conflict or opportunity? Alignment between producers and consumers in the responsible supply of minerals and held strategic meetings to strengthen bilateral cooperation and consolidate new opportunities.
In the dialogue with the Minister of Mining of Chile, Aurora Williams, they addressed the importance of promoting sustainable mining in Latin America; while, with the Deputy Minister of Mining Resources of Saudi Arabia, Abdulrahman K. AlBelushi, they exchanged experiences and highlighted the investment opportunities that Peru offers.
