Distance does not have to be a barrier to accessing quality academic preparation. With this objective, the national PAIS program of the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (Midis) and the Kooltural association signed an inter-institutional agreement to work together for education in towns and rural areas, benefiting nearly 2,700 young people.
Valid for two years, this strategic alliance will promote educational inclusion and equal opportunities for adolescents and young people who aspire to continue their higher education, through access to university preparation and learning tools that will be provided in more than 300 dairy farms through the Academika virtual platform.
The executive director of the PAIS program, Manuel Pachas, and the president and founder of Kooltural, Ismael la Rosa, signed this agreement that will help guarantee the continuity of educational services and highlighted that this work will provide new development opportunities to young people from populated centers in the mountains and the jungle.
We believe that talent has no borders and that the place where a person is born should not define how far they can go. Thanks to this alliance, through the dairy farms we bring quality education to remote communities, just as we began last year with school reinforcement and pre-university preparation, managing to provide more than 23,900 services, highlighted Pachas Ochoa.
For his part, Ismael la Rosa pointed out that this work will generate a great impact among young people in the interior of the country. We have the absolute and unconditional commitment to truly generate significant change in our young people throughout Peru, through education, art and culture, he stated.
It should be noted that, as part of this work, in 2025 a work plan was executed that allowed twelve young people to prepare with Academika, to access a Pronabec scholarship, and that more than 500 students were trained to apply for the National Scholarship 18 Pre-selection Exam, showing that, when there are resources and support, the talent and effort of young people obtains great results.
Within the framework of the management of the Minister of Development and Social Inclusion, Lily Vasquez Davila, this type of alliances will continue to be strengthened, the purpose of which is to contribute to closing gaps in access to higher education to promote the capabilities of young people, especially in rural areas and with the permanent support of the State.
