To provide high-quality medical care and rehabilitation for patients after a stroke, City Clinical Hospital No. 9 received special functional beds, defibrillators, a portable electrocardiograph, a bicycle ergometer for functional studies and rehabilitation, a complex for transcranial magnetic stimulation, devices for robotic mechanotherapy, a system for unloading the patients body weight, a simulator for training gait and balance.

About 6.5 thousand strokes are registered annually in Udmurtia.The republic has a step-by-step system of care for patients after vascular accidents - these are 8 primary vascular departments in cities and regions and 3 regional vascular centers.Treatment and rehabilitation of patients with cardiovascular diseases is one of the most important areas of the national project Long and Active Life, which is being implemented by decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
