Digitalization needs smart minds - with todays signing of the cooperation agreement between OTH Amberg-Weiden and FinanzIT BAYERN, we are sending a strong signal for innovation and the future in Bavaria. From the winter semester 2026/2027, students can study media information technology and artificial intelligence in a practical way - and combine in-depth knowledge with exciting insights into modern financial administration. From day one, they gain valuable practical experience and benefit from the know-how of experienced experts. Together with At the university and FinanzIT BAYERN, we promote our talents and secure the skilled worker base, which further strengthens Bavaria and especially the Upper Palatinate. Our training combines theory and practice at the highest level and optimally prepares graduates for their career entry with the Free State of Bavaria as a modern and attractive employer!, says Finance and Homeland Minister Albert Furacker about the start of the dual computer science course at the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden for the winter semester 2026/2027.
