Flood protection for Regensburg is making progress: with Sallern, 11 of a total of 18 sections have now been implemented. The one kilometer long new flood protection route will protect 400 people in the future. Together with the newly and naturally designed bank and foreshore area, Sallern is a prime example of the Bavarian Ministry of the Environments PRO Waters 2030 action program.
