Bavarian urban development program supports internal development, climate protection and creation of living space

This year, the Free State of Bavaria supports 18 cities, markets and municipalities in Lower Franconia with around 9 million euros from the Bavarian urban development program. For example, the municipality of Guntersleben intends to significantly upgrade the public space by redesigning two streets with adjacent alleys.
In the middle of Oberwerrn, the historic Kimmelhaus to the community center is to be converted as an important building block to strengthen the town center. A new village center for events and as a meeting place for the citizens will be created.
Also in the city of Alzenau in the district of Kalberau, a central meeting point for citizens and clubs is to be created with the renovation and conversion of the old school.
