π Tender Overview
Today the Mittelstand-Digital Congress 2025 of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) is taking place in Berlin. Under the motto AI and Cybersecurity - what SMEs start-ups and crafts need to know now the congress focuses on two key topics that are increasingly crucial for small and medium-sized enterprises. The event which will be opened by the Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Gitta Connemann brings together medium-sized companies with experts from science and practice.
Artificial intelligence and cybersecurity are no longer just futuristic concepts. They are the foundation for competitiveness and resilience in the German Mittelstand: AI transforms data into decisions routine into innovation and challenges into opportunities. At the same time clear security strategies and practical training in cybersecurity build a strong invisible protective wall against digital attacks. This protects business processes and know-how from digital threats. With Mittelstand-Digital we support companies in not only understanding these technologies but also using them boldly and securely - so that digital potentials are not left untapped but become a reliable growth engine.
The goal of the congress is to convey practical knowledge. Experts from science and administration can exchange ideas with companies on current legal developments and present concrete courses of action for everyday business. Additionally the short study created on behalf of the BMWE by Ramboll Consulting GmbH in collaboration with the Institute of the German Economy Cologne e.V. will be presented. It highlights key regulatory developments and shows their opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises.
In addition to the main location in Berlin the congress will be held nationwide at the following four satellite locations via live stream and with individual practice-oriented training offers - directly on-site and close to the needs of the companies.
