π Tender Overview
Outstanding start-up developments from Saxony-Anhalt Bavaria Baden-Wurttemberg North Rhine-Westphalia and Bavaria today receive the highest category of the BMWK start-up award. In addition Dr. Anna Christmann Commissioner of the BMWK for the digital economy and start-ups other founding teams-a total of 21. A total of 263 young founders handed their IDeenskizzen.
15 teams were awarded the founding price of 7000 euros for their creative and future -oriented business ideas. Six outstanding young companies were also able to look forward to the founding price+ of the BMWK which is endowed with 32000 euros each. A team impressed the jury twice: The Magdeburg start-up byte Robotics won the FORE PRICE+ also the focus price Innovative AI and thus an additional 10000 euros.
The focus pricegoes to visionary solutions that set new standards raise efficiency potential and strengthen the competitiveness of our business location. Byte Robotics presented such a solution. The software of the start-up uses innovative AI technology to program robots in industry faster easier and more flexibly. This increases the efficiency of industrial processes and enables a broader use of automation even in smaller companies. This type of innovation strengthens the technology location of Germany and shows what potential there is in our start -up scene.
The award ceremony took place on this years transform as part of the Connecting the Dots 2025 network meeting - the conference organized by the Bitkom industry association around the digital transformation in Berlin.
About the founding competition - digital innovations
The Founding Competition - Digital Innovations is a nationwide and industry -open ideas competitionWerb with which the BMWK distinguishes and supports start-ups based on digital technologies in its early phase. Since 1997 10000 teams have participated in the founding competition. The foundation rate of the participants is 60 percent in the following year of participation with a share of approx. 26 percent founders. Every year up to 44 prices are awarded in a summer and winter round. One from business science and start-up scene chooses up to six Grun eachideas that receive the founding price+ endowed with 32000 euros. In addition up to 15 further founding ideas with a start -up price of 7000 euros each are awarded. The thematically changing focus price is endowed with 10000 euros. All participants receive a written assessment of their founding idea as part of a SWOT analysis. The award winners also benefit from coaching mentoring and networking offers.
The priceearnings and award winners in detail:
Focus price Innovative AI and founding price+:
Industrial robots are central machine tools of modern production but their flexible and sustainable use is severely restricted by the high programming costs. The AI-based software technology developed by Byte Robotics from Magdeburg automatically automatically the previously manual programming process and thereby significantly reduces the necessary programming time. This makes the use of industrialobolder more economical and more flexible. The technology seamlessly integrates into existing industrial software for robot programming so that programmingers can continue to use their usual tools without learning new workflows. The result is collision -free cycle -timed robot programs within a few minutes instead of hours or days. In this way the product also enables the reuse of robotal analages for new and frequently changing tasks and supports it in this waySustainable needs -based production processes.
The other award winners of the founding price+ are:
The Freiburg start-up cynus wants to fundamentally change the way people interact with computers. With the innovative input device Sphere One Cynus offers completely new possibilities of navigation and interaction in the 2D and 3D room. The device enables an intuitive liquid and customizable use experience which can be used by modern algorithmsExpectedly distinguished hardware and artificial intelligence. Sphere One allows the interaction in completely new degrees of freedom and not only increases productivity but also reduces typical loads due to ergonomic design which occur in everyday office life such as: B. repetitive strain injury. With the help of the associated SPHERIX software solution almost all properties of the device can be individually adjusted. This includes functions such as sensitivity vibration feedback andGesture control which can also be adapted to the respective application in real time. Mechic from Bochum revolutionizes stretching sensors by developing sensors that do not need electrical energy. The sensors use micromechanical components such as amplifiers memory and logics instead of conventional electronics. These components are integrated into a mechanically integrated circuit (Mechic) so that the sensor works without external power supply. The sensoRCHIP provides a digital signal and has a mechanical memory that detects and stores threshold values even without continuous power supply. The chips can be read out via RFID. Since the sensors do not require electrical energy they are ideal for use in remote or difficult to access locations e.g. B. embedded in concrete. The main application of the sensors lies in the monitoring of buildings and machines. Pressure air is in almost allIndustries such as automotive food and chemical industry are used to drive machines and tools. The generation of compressed air makes up about 10 percent of the total energy consumption of these sectors with 20 to 30 percent lost due to leak. This causes costs in the two- to three-digit billion-euro area and over 100 megatons CO2 emissions. Omnisent Ai from Paderborn developed a solution for continuous real-time recognition and localizationExercise of these leaks. The start-up uses small IoT chips that can be attached to pipes and can detect the ultrasound waves generated by leaks. With the help of advanced al
