π Tender Overview
In Germany Central European Summer Time (CEST) begins on the night from Saturday to Sunday March 29 2026. At 2:00 AM the clocks will be set forward by one hour - to 3:00 AM.
This marks the start of summer time which is implemented simultaneously in all member states of the European Union as well as in other neighboring countries.
Summer time lasts until the next time change on October 25 2026.
The basis for the time change in EU member states is uniform European regulations. Both Central European Time (CET) and Central European Summer Time (CEST) are derived from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Coordinated Universal Time is based on Greenwich in London which is the time zone west of Germany.
While CET is one hour ahead of UTC the difference for CEST is two hours.
