On Monday, January 12, 2026, His Excellency President Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid met in Baghdad with Prime Minister Mr. Muhammad Shia al-Sudani.
The meeting discussed the developments in the country and reviewed the efforts of national forces to enhance security and stability, in order to continue the path of construction and development across all provinces.
It was also emphasized the importance of maintaining dialogues among political forces and expediting the completion of the remaining constitutional entitlements to enhance citizens trust in the political process and ensure a safe and prosperous future for the country.
