Interactive platform that facilitates access to strategic data of broadcasting services.The Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC) presented the first dynamic dashboard of broadcasting indicators, an interactive platform designed for the analysis of information on sound and television broadcasting services in the country.
The tool will allow access to updated information on radio and television stations nationwide, know their geographical distribution, make queries through dynamic filters and monitor the progress of Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) in the national territory.
The dashboard has been developed through the General Directorate of Telecommunications Authorizations (DGAT), with the purpose of facilitating access to strategic information in the sector, as well as strengthening the analysis and decision-making processes.
Furthermore, the platform represents an advance in digital transformation and open data management, by making relevant information on the evolution and development of broadcasting services in the national territory available to citizens, companies, researchers and public entities.
Among its main functionalities, the dashboard allows specialized queries to be made by frequency bands, identifying the geographical location of the stations and viewing indicators related to the implementation of DTT. In this way, it contributes to better planning of public policies aimed at improving broadcasting services and access to information. The Minister of Transportation, Aldo Prieto Barrera, highlighted that this initiative reaffirms the sectors commitment to the modernization of broadcasting services and the strengthening of institutional transparency.
