.The National Amazon University of Madre de Dios, has achieved an important recognition by occupying the first place in research among Peruvian universities, according to the most recent Scimago Institts Rankings (Sir) 2025. This achievement highlights the firm commitment of the institution with research, innovation and social impact in the Amazon region.
In addition to this first place in investigation, the UNAMAD has reached third place in research at the level of all sectors, consolidating itself as a reference in innovation and social responsibility. The Scago Institutions Rankings (Sir) 2025 evaluated 36 universities nationwide, highlighting UNAMAD as one of the best institutions in the country.
