📋 Tender Overview
From 12 August 2024, new technological standards for the Fixed-Line Broadband Information System (SIDUSIS) will come into force. The information contained in the document describes the technological solutions used in the System and the format and method of data transfer by users.
What new features will be introduced?
An important change will be the provision of information on whether the reported real ranges are based on own or third-party infrastructure (wholesale operator). This will make it easier to determine who is responsible for the accuracy of the data, which will make it easier to effectively address and correct erroneous reports.
Better analysis of the telecommunications market
The introduced changes will affect the overall analysis and assessment of the functioning of the telecommunications market, and above all the determination of the level and changes in access to the existing fixed-line broadband Internet access infrastructure for User Operators. The new standards will also enable cross-control of data transferred to the PIT and SIDUSIS systems. The need to introduce these changes was also signalled by the President of UKE.
Facilitation of reporting and verification of data
The modules for reporting a purchase order and verifying data in SIDUSIS will also be updated. The changes to the forms are intended to make it easier for users to define inconsistencies and to ensure a quick and effective response from the team operating the System.
Deadlines for the new standards
The new technological standards will be in force from the moment of their publication. According to the schedule for data transfer to SIDUSIS, entities that operate more than 50,000 address points will have to apply the new standards as early as August 16, 2024. Other entities, with fewer address points, will do so by 10 September 2024.
