At the High Mountain Meteorological Observatory on Snie?ka, representatives of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management - National Research Institute signed a letter of intent on the construction of a water supply, sewage and energy system in the Karkonosze National Park. This agreement is the basis for further arrangements and activities aimed at the implementation of this investment.

The aim is to regulate the entire water and sewage management so that in 3 years tourists will be able to enjoy the effects of the modernization.

The parties to the agreement were also representatives of the Krkonoše National Park, KRNAP (Krkonošský národní park), the City of Karpacz, the Silesian House and Karpacz Ski Arena Sp. z o.o.

Thanks to the signed agreement, it will be possible, for m.in, to build toilets, a water supply or sewage disposal system, as well as to rebuild the power grid.
