Entrepreneurs running sports clubs will be able to apply for financial support under the government program Financial Shield 2.0 of the Polish Development Fund for micro small and medium enterprises.The activity of sports clubs PKD 93.12.Z was included in the list of 9 additional industries particularly affected by the situation related to COVID-19 which will be eligible for support under the new PFR Financial Shield.Sports clubs employing from 9 to 249 employees will be able to receive up to PLN 3.5 million. Small clubs - up to 9 employees - can count on a subsidy of up to PLN 324000 .Support in the area of sports activities as part of the new version of the PFR Financial Shield will apply to entities conducting business activities specified in one of the 4 PKD codes93.11.Z - Activities of sports facilities93.12.Z - Activities of sports clubs93.13.Z - Activities of facilities to improve physical condition93.19.Z - Other activities related to sport Financial Shield 2.0 of the Polish Development FundThe program consists of two activitiesFinancial Shield 2.0 of the Polish Development Fund for micro-enterprises worth PLN 6.5 billion the micro-company employs more than 1 person and less than 9 the annual net turnover or balance sheet total for 2019 is less than or equal to EUR 2000000Financial Shield 2.0 of the Polish Development Fund for small and medium-sized enterprises with a value of PLN 6.5 billion the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises employs more than 1 person and less than 249 the annual net turnover does not exceed EUR 50000000 or its balance sheet total does not exceed EUR 43000000Applications for support may be submitted by entrepreneurs until February 28 2021 via electronic banking systems.Selected conditions for granting the subsidyoperating under at least one PKD code specified in the programemploying at least one employee as of December 31 2019 or July 31 2020recording a certain decrease in turnover and additional formal conditions.Conditions for the redemption of 100 subsidies continuation of business activitiesmaintaining average employment micro-enterprises or accounting for the surplus of subsidies SMEsex post verification of the loss forecast and the amount of economic turnover for the period from 1 January 2021 to 31 March 2021 SME.
