Philippines 3rd Bridge Tender

It is expected that the 3rd Bridge will open and pass through this city on the second week of this month.The repair of the bridge continues with Frey-Fil Corporation showing that the last box girders have been placed in the first box girder superstructure design nationwide.The bridge has a total value of P338M and has a length of 140 meters a width of 15 meters and four lanes. It is able to accommodate the highest level of water based on Typhoon Ondoy which is 6085 meters high from the main sea level. It consists of 55 segmental box girders and 53 of these pre-cast segments fabricated at the Frey-Fil plant in Calumpit Bulacan while the two are cast-in-place segments. It also has two abutments and two piers Litan said.The bridge design has a standard load of 15 tons per axle load.
