Peru Video Surveillance Tender

πŸ“‹ Tender Overview

The executive director of Las Mercedes Hospital in Chiclayo, Dr. Yonny Ureta NΓΊΓ±ez reported that an average of 25 video surveillance cameras have been installed in the different areas of the hospital in order to provide greater security to administrative and care staff, as well as to patients, family members and people who come daily to their consultations and medical appointments.

He explained that with the installation of these video surveillance cameras, unscrupulous people who "camouflage" themselves will be identified to enter the institution to carry out criminal acts, so now it is being constantly monitored. He also revealed that these cameras are strategically installed in the Emergency Zones, SIS, Admission, Outpatient Clinics, Wake, Oxygen Plant, Solid Waste Zone and hospital corridors.

"In this way we are monitoring and recording 24 hours a day everything that has been happening inside our hospital, since these cameras have infrared that allow us to see the images clearly during the night and observe who or who enters the hospital and in the event of an adverse event the alert is activated and the security protocol is followed," commented the director Dr. Yonny Ureta NΓΊΓ±ez.

On the other hand, he stated that during the night patients from the emergency area cannot enter the outpatient consultation environments, since there is no attention at those times in these areas, so "we are going to identify people who could be trying to commit criminal acts within the hospital, for this security personnel have been trained with the guidelines they must follow and intervene in an abnormal event in the hospital."
He commented that after three years the video surveillance cameras have been installed and some that have been inoperative have been recovered, so today there are already 25 video surveillance cameras, adding that all this has been achieved after two months of management and with the firm commitment of the Regional Governor, Dr. Jorge Luis PΓ©rez to keep our hospital safe in order to provide the proper care to our patients, while maintaining our institutionality.

Similarly, Dr. Yonny Ureta said that he is covering the maintenance of the 25 video surveillance cameras, ensuring their useful life for a long period of time, adding that the universities are already complying with the inter-institutional agreements, so it is planned to install another 30 security cameras for the institution making a total of 55 operational video cameras that would help protect the entire infrastructure. the equipment, the patients and the staff who work and stay overnight.

Finally, he said that people and patients who come to Las Mercedes Hospital must respect the institution, take care of and know how to use the environments, avoiding arriving with many relatives, "let's remember that outpatient care, as far as children and geriatrics are concerned, can go with a family member, in the same way in emergency care, reminding them that the medical staff will always provide all the care patients require."
