📋 Tender Overview
One of the main demands of the population is to have a decent and formal job, where their labor rights are respected. Currently, the rate of labor informality in the country is estimated between 70% and 80%, and one of the challenges from the State, is to reverse this situation through effective actions that promote formal employment.
In this sense, the job fairs carried out by the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) have been a strategic effort to convene labor supply and demand at the same point, facilitating the connection between job seekers and companies that offer job positions and need to evaluate applicants for them.
In that sense, the MTPE in articulation with the Commonwealth Lima Norte, organizes the next Mega Job Fair, to be held this Tuesday 26 from 9:00 a.m. on the esplanade of the Civic Center of Comas (Intersection of Av. 22 de Agosto with Av. Universitaria). The activity brings together 130 private sector companies, which will make available to the attending public more than 5000 formal job vacancies, with a significant percentage of them destined exclusively to older adults, people with disabilities and foreign citizens with all their documentation in order.
Likewise, it will be possible to access the services provided by the MTPE completely free of charge, through the Employment Center, where not only will the Single Labor Certificate (CUL) be delivered, but also advice will be provided for job search, vocational guidance and occupational information, guidance for entrepreneurship, among others.
Similarly, other public sector institutions will offer their services to citizens, such as the ministries corresponding to the Interior, Education, Production, Development and Social Inclusion sectors; as well as Foreign Trade and Tourism; Justice and Human Rights; and Women and Vulnerable Populations.
Similarly, the eight district municipalities that make up the North Lima Commonwealth: Ancón, Carabayllo, Comas, Independencia, Los Olivos, San Martín de Porras, Puente Piedra and Santa Rosa, will be present bringing their services to the attending public; in addition to other public institutions such as Sunafil, Sunarp, Servir, Reniec, EsSalud, ONP, among others.
The fairs are an itinerant activity carried out by the MTPE with the purpose of generating adequate spaces to promote employment in the various districts of the country, articulating with private enterprise, local governments and NGOs. The next editions of the Job Fair will be in October in the districts of Barranco (Thursday 5) and Chaclacayo (Saturday 14).
