With the aim of combating the wave of crimes and assaults, a total of 96 workers have been hired by the Provincial Municipality of Piura (MPP) to integrate the Citizen Security Management and strengthen patrols in the city.
The new personnel will join the municipal patrol by order of Mayor Gabriel Madrid Orue. That is, he will be in charge of driving the trucks and motorcycles with the aim of protecting the Rapid Aid Posts (PAR) installed in various parts of the city.
In addition, to provide security in places with a lot of public influence, such as the Miguel Cortés Children's Park, according to the head of Serenazgo, Herbert Mendoza.
The new workers will do three 8-hour shifts patrolling the streets and critical points of citizen insecurity.
It should be noted that, with the hiring of this new personnel, the Serenazgo agents of the provincial commune will increase to 180.
