This sports space is part of the project to improve the educational service of this Higher Studies House, which is executed by the Regional Government with an investment of S/136 million. More than 1,350 students from the Almirante Miguel Grau de Piura Institute of Public Technological Education, will have a modern sports court with athletic track and stands. This project, which includes other works that will make the Institute the most grade in the region, is executed by the regional government.
The work that has an advance of more than 55%, in addition to the court and athletic track, includes the construction of a sports center, modern classrooms, specialized laboratories, industrial chemistry workshops, production mechanics and automotive mechanics, library, English laboratory , auditorium and nursing area, among others. This new infrastructure will turn the Miguel Grau Admiral Institute into the largest and most modern in the region.
With this project, which is in charge of the Executing Unit of Higher Institutes of Regional Public Education and has an investment of S/136 million, the Regional Government Piura reaffirms its commitment to the improvement of the infrastructure of higher education in the region , offering young people a first level environment for their professional training.
It should be noted that, so far from the management of the governor, Luis Neyra Leon, the Piura Regional Government, through Executing Unit 304, builds seven technological higher education institutes throughout the region, for more than 238 million soles.
