In March, the regulations on firearms transfer and the procedure for the return of weapons and hospitalized ammunition will be addressed. With the objective of promoting the legal and safe use of firearms, ammunition and related materials for civil use, the National Superintendence of Control of Security Services, weapons, ammunition and explosives for civil use (SUCAMEC) invites citizens to participate in their cycle of free virtual training 2025.
The sessions, taught by specialists of the entity, will take place twice a month, from March 28 to December. There will be 20 training, organized according to an annual schedule (see link of the schedule), as part of the SUCAMEC prevention program, in order to promote compliance with current regulations and reduce illegal arms possession.
The training will be in charge of outstanding specialists from the Directorate of Weapons, ammunition and related materials (DAMMR) and will include topics such as:
Legal transfer of firearms.
Return of weapons and hospitalized ammunition.
Obtaining arms licenses.
Requirements for the importation and legal internment of weapons and ammunition.
Current regulations for the legal transfer of weapons and ammunition.
Responsible use of weapons.
Licenses for sport and recreational shooting, among other topics.
