Contribution to economic recovery Senace granted environmental viability to investment projects for more than US $ 415 million that contribute to sustainable growth in the La Libertad region, evaluated with technical solidity and incorporating the voice of citizenship, through workshops and audiences.
To date, SENACE certified 3 modifications of Environmental Impact Study (MEIA-D) of Mining Projects for an amount greater than US $ 246 million: the Parcoy, La Arena and Santa Maria mining units.
The Environmental Agency also certified 2 projects in the transport sector, which exceed US $ 169 million: the detailed environmental impact study (EIA-D) of the modernization and development of Multipurpose Terminal of Salaverry, and its first Meia-D.
In all its processes, the entity promotes citizen participation to generate social confidence in environmental evaluation. In La Libertad, he directed 2 audiences and 50 workshops in the projects evaluated, with about 5,000 people.
Finally, it maintains ten projects under evaluation and accompaniment in the region, in the mining, hydrocarbons, transport and electricity sectors.
Communication
To strengthen its presence as an environmental authority and promote technical collaboration, a SENACE team held meetings in Trujillo on Wednesday, February 19 with representatives of the Regional Government, the Provincial Municipality and the Chamber of Commerce of Freedom.
In 2025 the management of SENACE seeks to strengthen the communication channels to coordinate joint actions and give fluidity to the evaluation of investment projects presented to the entity, for the benefit of the regions.

The National Environmental Certification Service for Sustainable Investments (SENACE) is a specialized technical public body, attached to the Ministry of Environment, which evaluates the environmental viability of the countrys large investment projects, with technical solidity and effective citizen participation.
