π Tender Overview
The regional governor of Ucayali, Manuel Gambini, the general commander of the Rural Settlement Command, Edgar Huarajo, and Congresswoman Francis Paredes visited the Vinuncuro hamlet, located in the District of Masisea (Colonel Portillo), with the objective of supervising the land that will be used to relocate the militarized unit of rural settlement (Umar) No. 3, previously enabled in singing.
The transfer of Umar No. 3, according to the army, is necessary due to the strategic location of the Vinuncuro hamlet and its access to the Tamaya River, because the measure will facilitate the construction of a road to the Puerto Putaya hamlet, isolated zone to which, for now, there is only river access in the rainy season. With this measure, the development of border integration for a better quality of life will be promoted.
It is important that the army is close to the population to be able to identify the needs and emergencies that arise in the areas remote, especially in Vinuncuro, a strategic point that will allow us to specify an agreement to build the road to Puerto Putaya, Gambini said.
Umar No. 3 is a fundamental unit in development. By relocating in this area, we contribute to close the gaps that exist in the education and health sectors. And we will make available all our capacities to boost the development of the population, Huarajo explained.
After meeting with leaders and residents, to identify the main needs of the population, Gambini announced the purchase of an engine to supply energy to the area, and initiate the efforts for the degree of their land and give continuity to the electrification project with solar panels.
He also visited the Manuel Orneta Educational Institution and the Vinuncuro Health post to learn about the main needs of both premises in the field of infrastructure and implementation. In that sense, efforts will begin for the improvement of the school and medicines will be sent for the health post.
