Within the framework of Law 27933 Law of the National System of Citizen Security and its regulations the regional governor e of Puno Germn Alejo Apaza installed the Regional Committee of Citizen Security CORESEC for the fiscal year 2022. Prior swearing-in as President who also swore in the other members in person and virtually. In his capacity as president of CORESEC Puno Germn Alejo Apaza expressed his concern about the high numbers of robberies and criminal acts that take place in the Region taking as a reference the reality of the town of Rinconada. It is necessary to join efforts establish strategies and take actions to give the population the tranquility and social peace that it needs he indicated. He highlighted the importance of establishing alliances with neighborhood councils peasant rounds lieutenant governors and native authorities in order to articulate them and insert them into joint work with the authorities with clear objectives and goals. After a broad meeting the members of the body in charge of formulating conducting and evaluating citizen security policies in the Puno region agreed to validate the Action Plan that CORESEC will have this year. CORESEC Puno is made up of the authorities of the Superior Court of Justice of Puno the Regional Prefecture the Ombudsmans Office the National Police the Board of Prosecutors the Regional Directorate of Health the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism the Regional Directorate of Education SUCAMEC INPE and the mayors of the province of Puno San Romn and Azngaro. The Regional Office for Risk Disaster and Security Management is in charge of the technical secretariat of CORESEC Puno.
