The Qali Warma National School Feeding Program of the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (MIDIS) was recognized for its participation in the human development of children and vulnerable populations in the district of Quinua in Ayacucho.
In a ceremony, the Municipality of Quinua presented a diploma of recognition for the intergovernmental work to improve the quality of life in favor of the most vulnerable populations in its jurisdiction. Among the public and private institutions and social programs that were considered are Qali Warma, Cuna Más, Pensión 65, País, Juntos, among others.
During the year 2023, the technical team of the Ayacucho Territorial Unit of Qali Warma has actively participated in the Local Articulation Instance, where various activities have been planned and executed to approach the population through fairs, demonstration cuisine and awareness campaigns on healthy eating, good practices in food handling, among others.
It should be noted that thanks to the work articulated between Qali Warma and the District Municipality of Quinoa, fresh foods such as spinach, carrots, tomatoes, beets, chard, celery, leeks and lettuce were distributed to various public educational institutions that benefited a total of 126 girls and boys from 10 educational institutions.
It is important to note that Qali Warma in Quinua serves 1036 schoolchildren from 29 public educational institutions.
