To strengthen the management of projects for the construction of new schools, the National Educational Infrastructure Program (Pronied), of the Ministry of Education (Minedu), will organize this Friday, November 10, in the city of Cajamarca, a training workshop on the management of the platform of the Decentralized Technical Assistance System (Asitec).
The face-to-face workshop will begin at 9:00 a.m. at IE No. 83004 Juan Clemente Verjel, located at Jr. Guillermo Urrelo 774, Cajamarca, and is aimed at representatives of the regional government and municipalities of this region that have projects under review on the Asitec platform, as well as those who have not yet initiated a technical assistance process.
The training will be led by specialists from the Management Unit for the Supervision of Agreements (UGSC) of Pronied, who will explain each of the procedures of the technical assistance process: operation of the Asitec platform, demand studies, architecture, topography, soils and assessment of risks caused by natural phenomena (EVAR).

Since its beginning of operations in 2019 to date, the Asitec platform has provided technical assistance and satisfactorily completed the attention of 22 educational infrastructure projects in Cajamarca, corresponding to 23 educational institutions, which require an investment of more than 295 million soles, for the benefit of 3603 Cajamarca students. Currently, Pronied is providing technical assistance to 71 projects, corresponding to a portfolio of 77 educational institutions, which would represent an investment of more than 575 million soles.
The Asitec platform is a tool that provides the Investment Executing Units (UEI) with technical assistance in a standardized, transparent and decentralized manner. Through this platform, the technical files are reviewed in detail, in order to improve the quality of their content and avoid deficiencies during the future execution of the works.
