๐ Tender Overview
Supplying drinking water to up to 600 families in a span of eight hours will be possible thanks to technology developed by a Peruvian company. A&B Ecosystems created portable equipment for the treatment, purification and bottling of water, which will provide this vital element to those populations affected during natural disasters.
The innovative mini-plant, developed with non-reimbursable funds from the Ministry of Production, through its ProInnรณvate program, converts turbid water into a quality resource for human consumption and packages it in bottles, drums and bag in boxes.
Thanks to its functional measures, this equipment can be transported in a small truck to the specific area and solve the problem of water scarcity caused by natural phenomena such as mudslides, droughts, floods or others.
Welcoming companies
The advantages of this technology have allowed it to be very well received by companies and various organizations, which have shown interest in the utilitarian impact on the communities that require it.
Likewise, this drinking water treatment equipment has already been acquired by entrepreneurs from all over the country, who have seen an opportunity and business model in the packaging of table water in all its presentations. To date, the company has sold 100 units of this mini-plant.
Co-financing of ProInnรณvate
For the development and validation of the demountable water treatment plant, the company A&B Ecosistemas had the co-financing and technical support of the ProInnรณvate program of the Ministry of Production, through the Business Innovation and Validation for Innovation contest.
These competitions are aimed at obtaining a new or improved innovative product, service or process that differs from what already exists in the market, as well as its technical and commercial validation in the market.
