π Tender Overview
Through the integration with the Pias and drums of the program, the Osinfor seeks to strengthen the orientation and bring its services to qualifying titles and native communities. The agorest and wildlife resistance agency (Osinfor), through its decentralized office (OD) in Pucallpa, held a meeting with the National PAIS program of the Ministry of Development and Inclusion Social (MIDIS), to articulate actions that allow you to reach remote areas of the Amazon and promote among the holders of qualifying titles a legal and sustainable management of forest resources.
During the meeting, the coordinator of the OD Pucallpa, Jose Diaz, explained that the integration with the PAIS program, through its itinerant social action platforms (Pias) and drums, will allow Osinfor services to approach remote populations. This strategy will help us guarantee that even the furthest communities receive the necessary orientation and technical support to fulfill their forest obligations and access benefits such as fines compensation, he said.
The PAIS program, which uses ships from the Navy of Peru and helicopters for the transfer of services, and drums strategically located for social care, will provide the Osinfor the ideal platform to carry out its interventions. Thus, specialized personnel will be appointed who will travel with these units, ensuring that the holders of qualifying titles and the native communities receive the necessary assistance to carry out sustainable management of the forest resources.
In addition, he emphasized the importance of articulating with the regional forest and wildlife authority of Ucayali to join these interventions, promoting legal access to the forest and the consolidation of a sustainable and competitive management model. This inter -institutional articulation seeks to optimize the value chain of the forestry sector and provide a quality service that benefits the communities and the country.
With this agreement, the Osinfor reaffirms its commitment to extend its services to the most remote regions of Peru, strengthening the legality and sustainability in the management of forest resources, in a joint effort that drives the integral development and protection of our forests.
