Interested citizens will be able to comment and make recommendations to the normative project, within the framework of citizen participation in Environmental Supervision.
The Environmental Evaluation and Control Agency (OEFA), an entity attached to the Ministry of Environment (Minam), through the Resolution of the Board of Directors No. 0005-2025-OEFA/CD provides for the publication of the regulatory project OEFA Supervision Regulation, so that citizenship in general can send their observations, comments, opinions or suggestions, before its approval. With this regulatory project, the OEFA seeks to consolidate the application of regulatory compliance approaches, prevention, risk management and fast and timely response, in order to contribute to effective environmental management of the holders of the inspections, as well as the functions in charge of the environmental inspection entities.
New provisions are included regarding the types of supervision for their purpose, such as control and orientative; And, other assumptions are incorporated for orientative supervisions in order to make more than one, considering the behavior and background of the administrator, within the framework of the principle of rapid response and efficiency. The regulatory project also incorporates the compliance commitment figure, which the administrator assumes voluntarily to execute an action or stop doing it, given the need for the imposition of an administrative measure and prior evaluation of the supervision authority.

The OEFA, with this action, reaffirms its commitment in the promotion of citizen participation mechanisms in environmental inspection, ensuring greater transparency and collaboration in environmental management.
