The Environmental Evaluation and Control Agency (OEFA), an entity attached to the Ministry of Environment, attended an environmental complaint about the alleged involvement of the sewerage of the access road in the Ayapot THE WATER OF THE CORONATION CHANNEL OF TAJO RAUL ROJAS DE COMPANIOS ADMINISTRADORA CERRO S.A.C.
A team of OEFA supervisors moved to the area with the aim of verifying the environmental complaint, making water and soil samples, measuring field parameters and evaluating related mining components.
It should be noted that the OEFA held a meeting with representatives of the Provincial Municipality of Pasco to inform about the actions carried out.
As a technical agency specialized in environmental inspection, the OEFA will continue to carry out actions in the area of the environmental complaint and informing about the findings obtained in the field.
