π Tender Overview
It is the seventh surveillance platform recovered and put into operation in favor of citizen security. With the firm intention of reinforcing citizen security in the district, the Municipality of Bellavista recovered and put into operation a security module located at the intersection of the Vigil and Comandante Espinar neighborhoods. Said module has been equipped with a computer and monitors that allow surveillance work through 7 cameras installed in that sector of the district.
This is a new strategy to fight crime executed by the administration of Mayor Alex Callan, whose objective is to intensify and decentralize surveillance to make it more effective and generate faster interventions. This measure becomes a reality thanks to the coordinated work with the National Police.
The municipal authority stated that this module will contribute to restoring the perception of security. He also announced the replacement of the current lighting with LED technology in all the streets of Cercado, thanks to the agreement recently signed with the company Enel Distribucion Peru.
When we entered here we found a closed Comprehensive Citizen Security Center. In inadequate conditions. We found all the modules closed, they did not work. We have progressively been recovering the CIS and this is the seventh module that we reopen today, said the mayor.
There are more modules that are distributed throughout the jurisdiction and that will soon be recovered from oblivion to carry out their work.
Before finishing, the municipal authority announced the upcoming construction of a new Comprehensive Citizen Security Center and the acquisition of surveillance cameras, vans, motorcycles, drones and bodycams (body cameras) for all security guards.
