The Ministry of Labour and Employment Promotion (MTPE) trained members of the National Federation of Workers of the Public Prosecutor's Office (Fentramip Peru) in the prevention and resolution of labour disputes.
The conciliator Mónica del Piélago, the lawyer and advisor of the Directorate for the Prevention and Resolution of Labor Conflicts and Corporate Social Responsibility at Work, Jorge Cosentino, and the advisors of the General Directorate of Labor, Gary Canchaya and César Flores, participated as speakers at the conference.
During the training, the topics were developed: Collective bargaining and General Directive No. 002-2023-MTPE/2/14, called "General Directive that regulates the exceptional holding of virtual meetings for the attention of labor conflicts of a collective nature, when situations of fortuitous event, force majeure or due to service needs are verified".
They also discussed alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and the requirements for the proper drafting of the collective bargaining agreement.
