With the aim of coordinating actions for the generation of 226 thousand temporary jobs through the execution of projects and immediate intervention activities throughout the country for the benefit of the population that most needs it the Deputy Minister for Employment Promotion and Training Labor Javier Palacios met today with the holders of the Network of Urban and Rural Municipalities of Peru Remurpe and the Association of Municipalities of Peru AMPE.In this way the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion MTPE through the Peru Work Program will execute 446 infrastructure projects and 4771 immediate intervention activities in 1070 districts of the country during 2020.The meetings were held separately through two virtual sessions. In addition to Vice Minister Palacios the executive director of Trabaja Per Ana Rodrguez Yez the presidents of Remurpe Vctor Villar Narro and from AMPE lvaro Paz de la Barra and mayors linked to these municipal institutions as well as representatives of the General Office of Planning and Budget of the MTPE.We need Trabaja Per to multiply by ten all the temporary jobs it has generated so far in a very short time which represents a challenge. This effort will help the most needy population in the country said Palacios during his speech. During 2020 with resources from the same year and financing from local governments and the Program the MTPE through Trabaja Peru is scheduled to generate 226 thousand temporary jobs through its three access modalities Project Competition Non-Competitive and Activities of Immediate Intervention.
