π Tender Overview
During the first management balance of the year 2024, it was reported that the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) generated 17,357 temporary jobs through the Llamkasun Peru program, during the month of December.
The beneficiaries have been people in situations of social and labor vulnerability, mostly from the interior of the country, such as: the elderly, people with disabilities and victims of gender-based violence, single mothers, among others, through immediate intervention activities formulated by the country's municipalities.
It should be noted that Llamkasun Peru generates temporary jobs through the financing of immediate intervention activities or basic, social and economic infrastructure projects, intensive in unskilled labor, which are presented and executed by local governments.
Likewise, from December 8 to February 13, the digital platform Mi Carrera, the MTPE's online vocational guidance and information service, assisted more than 27 thousand young people in choosing their professional career, thus reducing job inadequacy and improving their future.
The tool has been created especially for young people who are about to leave school, or who have already completed basic education but have not yet decided what to study. For them, "My Career" makes available up-to-date and user-friendly information on: professional careers; universities and institutes recognized by Sunedu and located by region and type of management (public or private); and scholarships and educational credits from various institutions, so that young people can complete their educational careers.
