📋 Tender Overview
The Ministries of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) urges the various workplaces to have an adequate and timely contingency plan against the announcement of water cut made by Sedapal, which will affect 22 districts of Metropolitan Lima as of next Friday, October 6 of this year.
In this regard, the respective Committees on Safety and Health at Work (CSST) are invoked in each case to ensure that the supply of drinking water is guaranteed and thus ensure the safety and health conditions of the work environment.
Likewise, the MTPE reminds employers, workers and citizens in general that it is essential that water storage is done properly and complying with the sanitary guidelines indicated by the corresponding authority, in order to safeguard the life and health of the affected population.
The MTPE recognizes occupational safety and health as a fundamental right of the country's workers and the preponderant role of the CSST in the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases.
