The Ministry of Transport and Communications MTC through the National Telecommunications Program Pronatel achieved an execution in connectivity investments of S 375 million between the months of January and October of this year. This figure represents 103 of the average execution accumulated in the same period between 2018 and 2021 which amounts to S 363 million. In other words at the investment level from January to October 62 of the Modified Institutional Budget PIM has been accrued which has made it possible to accelerate the deployment of fiber optics at the national level so that more Peruvians have access to the Internet. and opportunities for digital development. In the month of October it was possible to execute in investments S 44.7 million that represents an advance of 146 of what was programmed for that month since it had been planned to execute S 30.7 million. This was achieved mainly by broadband projects in 18 regions of the country the 911 Project and the Red Dorsal Nacional de Fibra ptica project. In addition the main advances were presented in the projects of the regions of Lima with an execution of S 12 million Hunuco with S 11 million Amazonas with S 9.7 million La Libertad with S 7.7 million and Puno with S 3 millions. This year in August broadband projects were launched in the Tacna and Moquegua regions. For the first half of 2023 the Ica Junn Amazonas Pasco Puno and Hunuco projects are expected to come into operation. It is worth mentioning that within the framework of the Todos Conectados Plan the implementation of the Digital Access Public Spaces EPAD initiative and the Digital Access Centers CAD has been completed. In the case of the Conecta Selva initiative it is already in the last phase of implementation although 99.08 of the beneficiary public institutions are already in operation.
