The presence of individuals who are offering processing services for the Technical Building Safety Inspection (ITSE) has been identified, using false and misleading information. The Provincial Municipality of Piura (MPP) informs the population about a worrying situation that has been detected at the local level. The presence of individuals who are offering services for processing the Technical Inspection of Safety in Buildings (ITSE) has been identified in the main supply center of the city, using false and misleading information. These individuals are fraudulently claiming that they have prior agreements with the Provincial Municipality of Piura and with the Sub-directorate of Disaster Risk Management, falsely claiming that they can expedite and guarantee the obtaining of said technical inspection.
The Provincial Municipality of Piura makes it clear that these statements are completely false and do not have any official support. The processing of the ITSE must be carried out only through the official channels established by the MPP and following the corresponding administrative procedures. Any illegal intermediation in this process constitutes a fraudulent practice and may lead to legal sanctions.
All citizens and merchants are urged to remain alert and not to be fooled by unscrupulous people who try to take advantage of the good faith of the community. To verify the authenticity of any management related to the ITSE, it is recommended to contact the Provincial Municipality of Piura directly through the orientation modules of the Citizen Service Office. The Provincial Municipality of Piura reaffirms its commitment to transparency and legality in all administrative processes, and will take the necessary measures to pursue and sanction those responsible for these fraudulent acts.
