π Tender Overview
This important action, promoted by Mayor Gabriel Madrid Orue, began on the night of Friday, January 31.Within the framework of the plan for the organization and recovery of the green areas and parks of the city, the Provincial Municipality of Piura (MPP), through the Environmental Management Department, carried out the Cleaning Battalion day on Bolognesi Avenue. This important action, promoted by Mayor Gabriel Madrid Orue, began on the night of last Friday, January 31.
With brooms, water, detergent and other tools, personnel from the Sub-Department of Ornamentation, Parks and Gardens proceeded to carry out a general cleaning throughout the park located in the middle of this avenue, from the Bolognesi bridge to the Bolognesi oval. The work concluded with the general sweeping and waxing of the floor, with the participation of some neighbors.
The Environmental Management Manager, Jaime Solano Castillo, reported that, in this public space, 1,500 m2 of green areas were installed with the objective of beautifying the ornamentation of this part of the city, as it is an integrating route that connects Piura with the district of Castilla. In the next few days, The Cleaning Battalion will intervene on Av. Grau, from the oval of our hero from Angamos to the Basilica Cathedral of Piura, Plaza Tres Culturas and Av. Loreto.
We are intervening in the center of the city and later we will move to other parks in Piura. For example, Gulman Avenue is also mapped for its maintenance of cleanliness and planting of green areas, he said.
In this sense, the official reported that they are looking to recover public spaces where garbage is accumulated due to bad neighbors throwing their waste. For this reason, he called on all Piurans not to throw garbage outside of the permitted hours, in addition to taking care of their parks and gardens.
With these actions, the Provincial Municipality of Piura continues to work for sustainable development and the improvement of the urban environment, promoting the importance of green areas as a fundamental part of a harmonious and healthy city.
