π Tender Overview
A total of 20 video surveillance cameras have been installed by the Provincial Municipality of Piura (MPP), through the Marketing Management, in the Piura Market Complex. The teams are located at strategic points with the aim of guaranteeing the tranquility and safety of merchants and those who visit this main supply center daily.
The high-tech cameras are Hikvision PTZ 360 degrees and have early warning horns for any risk eventuality, among other features. These are monitored 24 hours a day from an operations center installed in the offices of the San Miguel market.
In addition, they are connected to the video surveillance centers of the Provincial Municipality of Piura.
The measure was ordered by the mayor of Piura, Gabriel Madrid Orue, as part of a citizen security strategy for Christmas and New Year's dates. It was the president of the Marketing Commission, Councilman Carlos Benites Guerrero, who supervised the operation of this equipment.
"We have verified the operation of the 20 video surveillance cameras in the market, which is a concentration center for a large number of people. I guarantee that they are high-quality cameras," he said.
With this investment, the MPP guarantees the surveillance of the city since this security system will be able to identify people who commit robberies and assaults in this supply center.
