📋 Tender Overview
The Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Eduardo Arana, today inaugurated two important works aimed at providing free services in his sector to more people in Cusco. It is a Mega Alegra of the Public Defense and a receiving office of the National Superintendence of Public Registries (Sunarp), where people will receive attention with an intercultural approach, that is, in their mother tongue.
In this way, with the opening of another Mega Alegra yesterday in Abancay, Minister Arana put into operation, in less than 24 hours, two centers where people with limited economic resources or in vulnerable situations will receive legal advice services by public defenders in Quechua and Aymara, in addition to support from psychologists, anthropologists, psychologists, psychologists, forensic doctors and social workers.
"This inauguration is part of President Dina Boluarte's policy of reaching out to citizens. We are making sure that we reach every corner of the country with services and not wait for them to come to us, for this we must articulate all the institutions. Yesterday, in Abancay we also inaugurated a Mega Alegra with attention in Quechua, less than a month ago we did it in Ucayali in Shipibo Konibo, soon there will be one in Juliaca," said the minister.
This is the third Mega Alegra with an intercultural focus at the national level that opens this year with the intervention of the Non-Penal Axis Program, allowing modern facilities. This center in Cusco benefits approximately 460,739 people. Meanwhile, the Mega Alegra inaugurated yesterday in Apurimac, with similar characteristics, contributes to directly reaching 142,132 Peruvians in poverty, and the one in Pucallpa in favor of 32,000 inhabitants of our indigenous communities.
Likewise, the Sunarp receiving office inaugurated by Minister Arana in the Historic Center of Cusco guarantees the legal security of 428 thousand Cusco residents with fewer resources, also allowing them to save time and money in their procedures.
"This is the real decentralization we're talking about. Starting today, more than 428,000 Cusco residents will benefit from the inauguration of this Sunarp receiving office. Facts about promises, that is the philosophy of my administration," emphasized the head of the MINJUSDH, complying with the policy of decentralizing and democratizing registry services.
In this receiving office, located at 124 Afligidos Street, users will be able to access guidance services on procedures, search for indexes, view of items, obtain verbatim copies, issue vehicle information tickets and receive titles.
