In order to promote financial inclusion and guarantee access to banking services for more families, the Juntos program of the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion, through the Moquegua Territorial Unit, in coordination with the Banco de la Nacion, carried out a carding campaign that benefited 71 new user households residing in the provinces of Mariscal Nieto, Ilo and General Sanchez Cerro.
The activity was carried out simultaneously in the Banco de la Nacion branches in Moquegua, during the start of the fifth payment operation of the year, which allowed mothers affiliated with the program to collect their payments for fulfilling their commitments in health and education.
During the delivery of cards, users were trained in financial education, savings, use and care of debit cards, recognition of counterfeit bills, correct use of ATMs, as well as the importance of fulfilling their commitments to the program.
In addition, during the aforementioned operation, local managers guided and provided support to users so that they could access their subscriptions quickly and safely.
