This is the highest number recorded since the creation of the SIS 23 years ago, exceeding the 83.5 million services provided in 2023.
To guarantee this coverage, the SIS made advance transfers of resources to hospitals, specialized institutes and health centers, with an investment that exceeded S/2,500 million, ensuring the health protection of its insured persons. Of the services registered in 2024, 35.1 million were preventive, 55.3 million were recuperative and more than 533,000 were rehabilitation. The most requested services included hospitalization, outpatient consultation, emergency care, cesarean sections and diagnostic support.
