Following the instructions of minister arana, a registration of people with dogs will be carried out and inspections of visitors will be carried out to prevent the entry of prohibited substances. This sunday, the ministry of justice and human rights (minjusdh), from the castro castro prison, began the new control strategy in prisons, in compliance with the provisions of minister eduardo arana ysa and as part of the new security policy that will be permanently developed in penitentiary establishments nationwide.
This new strategy implemented consists of the registration of people with dogs that detect narcotic and explosive substances from the canine unit of the national police of peru and with the control of warrants outside the prisons, with the participation of prison agents and police officers, to verify if there is any arrest warrant.
In order to guarantee the correct development, the president of the inpe, javier llaque, carried out the supervision at the miguel castro castro prison.
This action is carried out in coordination with the national penitentiary institute (inpe), the ministry of the interior and the national police of peru to prevent the entry of prohibited objects and substances and to fight crime head-on.
