The Bellavista District Municipality, through the Environmental Management Division, has been working on strengthening environmental education. In this way, visits have been made to commercial establishments in order to raise awareness about the importance of segregating solid waste.
Likewise, posters have been distributed on the correct disposal of solid waste using the colors brown (organic waste), green (recyclable waste), black (non-recyclable waste) and red (hazardous waste).
The Bellavista Municipality reaffirms its commitment to continue working towards environmental education and sustainability by promoting actions that contribute to caring for the environment.
