Mayor Gabriel Madrid Orue, accompanied by his councilors, will meet with the neighbors next Friday, March 21 from 6:00 p.m. To place the first stone of this important work that demands an investment of S/ 3,357,205.83.
After 25 years, we are going to maintain these arteries at the concrete level, which will include an improvement with an Over layer, considering that it is an area with high water table. We have understood the discomfort of the neighbors, but this initiative is already a reality, said the mayor of Piura, Gabriel Madrid.
The project, called Pavement maintenance in Av. Los Cocos, between Av. Sanchez Cerro, Av. Sullana, Av. Grau and Av. Procer Mendiburo, contemplates the renewal of 7,603.64 m2 of pre -enclosed concrete slab and 67.77 m2 of flexible pavement with a 2 -inch asphalt folder. In addition, 100.57 m3 of concrete will be installed for the construction of submerged and peral sardines.
To guarantee road safety during the execution of the work, a deviation plan will be implemented and horizontal signage will be reinforced with the placement of speed reducers, measures that will allow circular conductors in optimal conditions. This intervention, together with the renewal works that are being carried out in other ways in the center of Piura, reaffirms the commitment of Mayor Gabriel Madrid Orue for recovering the city and improving the quality of life of its inhabitants.
