To guarantee road safety, speed reducers will be installed and horizontal signage painting will be executed. After many years of waiting, Av. Andres Avelino Caceres and Av. Los Cocos will receive an improvement under quality standards. To launch these initiatives, the mayor of Piura, Gabriel Madrid Orue, will place the first stone of both projects this Friday, March 21.
As part of its work agenda, the Provincial Authority will launch the Pavement Maintenance at Av. Andres Avelino Caceres, between Sanchez Cerro Avenue to the Andres Avelino Caceres bridge (Fourth Bridge). The appointment is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
The project includes the paving of 902.20 m2 of the pre -ruling concrete slab, the placement of 420. 71 m2 of pavement articulated with cobblestones, 559. 28 m2 of flexible pavement with a 2 asphalt folder of 2 and 613.98 m2 of flexible pavement with Slurry. In addition, 89.95 meters of submerged concrete sardines will be placed, among other physical characteristics.
Subsequently, two hours later, the Provincial Mayor will place the first stone of the Maintenance in Av. Los Cocos, between Av. Sanchez Cerro, Av. Sullana, Av. Grau and Jr. Head of Mendiburo. The investment amount is S/3 357 205.83.
7,603.64 m2 will be intervened with pre -enclosed concrete slab (MR = 45 kg/cm2) and 67.77 m2 with flexible 2 asphalt folder pavement. Likewise, 100.57 m3 of concrete fc = 175 kg/cm2 will be placed for the construction of submerged and peral sardines.

The mayor of Piura, Gabriel Madrid Orue, said that these interventions are especially relevant after the damage caused by the rains and the passage of time. Currently, these routes look deteriorated because previous governments did not worry about providing timely maintenance.
