The Marine Corps Force commemorated on September 12, the ninth anniversary of the Engineering Battalion, an act that was attended by the personnel of the aforementioned operational force.
The ceremony held at the Ancon Naval Base was presided over by the Commander of the Marine Infantry Force, Rear Admiral Ezio Piana Arenas, who highlighted the work of the Engineering Battalion and recalled its main achievements throughout its institutional existence.
It should be recalled that the mission of the aforementioned battalion is to provide combat and logistical engineering support to the units of the amphibious brigade, in addition to participating in joint military actions and intervening in the National Disaster Risk Management System.
