Historic day in the district of Huarmaca, province of Huancabamba. After years of waiting, it was finally possible to inaugurate the long-awaited environmental control laboratory, in order to carry out comprehensive water quality monitoring activities in this area of the Alto-Piurana mountains. With this important laboratory, which was achieved thanks to the articulated work between the District Municipality of Huarmaca and the Morropón Huancabamba Health Sub-Region, health savings will be made, since if we improve the quality of water, we will have fewer cases of diarrhea, anemia, chronic malnutrition, etc.
"This laboratory, fully equipped, is synonymous with the articulated work that the authorities have been doing for the benefit of the health of our population. We hope that its usefulness will have an impact on health care," said the director of the Morropón Huancabamba Health Sub-Region, Méd. Yoel Julca Chamba.
