The councilors of the Escuderina commune; Mr. Faustino Temoche, Priscilla Febres, Paola Morales and Monica Zapata together with officials from the district municipality of Ignacio Escudero, met with representatives of the Chira Piura Special Project (PECHP) to address first of all the progress of the survey of observations on the ground of the Water and Sewerage project of the San Jose, Santa Rosa and San Miguel population centers.
Likewise, engineer Angel Garcia presented a dry forest reforestation plan for our district, the main purpose of this project is to get the agricultural, livestock and juveco associations of the District to consciously participate in reforestation, with the objective of mitigating climate change due precisely to the incessant deforestation of the dry forest.
In this way, an inter-institutional agreement and convention will be made between the municipality of Ignacio Escudero, headed by Mayor Manuel Chorres Alburqueque, and the Chira Piura Special Project, in which the donation of seedlings, technical assistance for the municipal nursery, and a project to install demonstration plots with technical irrigation in the Monte Lima population center will be achieved.
Indeed, it is worth highlighting the joint work between the municipality and the PECHP, which was applauded by the representative of the Chira Piura project, congratulating the councilors and the mayor for their willingness to work for environmental care and the development of Ignacio Escudero and that in the first instance an internship will be carried out at the forest nursery of the Poechos dam.
