π Tender Overview
Did you know that the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) has an interactive map that will be of great help to know if a road has traffic interrupted or restricted by rains, floods, mudslides or social demonstrations?
It is a free, easy-to-use tool available to the public through the MTC website. Just click on the link below https://saecoe.mtc.gob.pe/visor
Road interruptions can occur due to weather events (rains or mudslides), social demonstrations, traffic accidents or damage to infrastructure.
The emergencies recorded on this map correspond to the national highways, managed by Provias Nacional and the 15 concessionaire companies. The viewer shows 2 ways to see the Peruvian territory: satellite and streets.
On national roads, the display shows the status or condition of an emergency or event with a certain color. If traffic is interrupted, the color is red. If traffic is restricted (only by one lane of the route or by a temporary access enabled), the color is yellow. In the case that the traffic is normal, the color is green.
In addition, in this MTC portal you will be able to view emergencies at airport, rail and port level. That's not all. You can also check the infrastructure of roads, ports and airports.
The information is permanently updated 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with official information from the MTC through ProvΓas Nacional, the General Directorate of Transport Programs and Projects, the National Port Authority and Corpac.
In case of emergency, if a user needs to report any event, they can do so through these telephone numbers of the MTC's Sectoral Emergency Operations Center: 981 232 298 and 981 232 505.
